Ordered replacement racks for my GE dishwasher along with two rack slide end caps.
The bottom rack was replaced by sliding out the old and sliding in the new.
The top rack was replaced by removing the end caps with needle-nose pliers, sliding the old rack out of the slides then sliding the new rack into the slides. replaced the end caps by positioning them and them in until they clicked.
