Monica Z Ossian , IA November 14, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GSD2230Z07WW Rusted dishwasher rack (pegs breaking off) I removed the stops on the upper rack with a flat head screw driver. Then, I popped the new rack in and pushed the stops back in. On the bottom rack, just lift the old one out and set the new one in. The racks are not exactly the same but much better than the nearly 15-year-old rusty one. The bottom rack was replaced by sliding out the old and sliding in the new. The top rack was replaced by removing the end caps with needle-nose pliers, sliding the old rack out of the slides then sliding the new rack into the slides. replaced the end caps by positioning them and them in until they clicked.
