Ordered and removed/replaced all broken/failed parts. Took me about 15 minutes, maybe 20 as the little clip that holds the wiring in place for the speed sensor wasn’t coming out.
After re-assembly I ran the remaining water out in a spin/drain cycle, then ran a small load of laundry. The washer runs just as good as new. Saved me quite a bit of money.
If you can do any repairs yourself, then by all means save yourself the money and do it.
