Charles J Carrollton , VA April 08, 2017 Appliance: Model JE2160CO2 Microwave inoperative completely including the light Removed microwave from built in enclosure. Removed metal housing from the microwave to access the control system. Used electronic schematic and diagnosis flow chart that came with the microwave to troubleshoot the controls. Found blown fuse, bad primary interlock switch, and bad wiring connector to the switch contacts. Ordered replacement relay, also ordered replacement light since it was several years old. Parts came quickly as promised. Replaced bad fuse, bad switch, bad wiring connector, and light. Used volt-ohm meters to check the remaining control circuit components to try to determine if other damage existed. Found none so reassembled the microwave and tested it. Works great now. 17 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours
