I knew for sure that the hinge with the large spring was damaged, but elected to replace both hinges and receivers. Replacing the parts was fairly easy and would have taken me less then an hour. This model has thin metal covers over the hinge assemblies. I found that squeezing in the sides of the covers help to hold them in place on the hinge while reassembling the door.
My only difficulty was putting the door back on the oven. It took a little maneuvering but I managed to get it. Now the door not only closes completely, but it opens more smoothly then before.
