Whirlpool WPW10299224 Door Hinge OEM Part

I knew for sure that the hinge with the large spring was damaged, but elected to replace both hinges and receivers. Replacing the parts was fairly easy and would have taken me less then an hour. This model has thin metal covers over the hinge assemblies. I found that squeezing in the sides of the covers help to hold them in place on the hinge while reassembling the door. My only difficulty was putting the door back on the oven. It took a little maneuvering but I managed to get it. Now the door not only closes completely, but it opens more smoothly then before. Purchased replacement parts. Began taking oven door apart to get at the hinges. Unfortunately the door is held together with magic. Once you remove a few of the screws everything just falls apart. It seems that pressure and the very tight tolerances make the door very sturdy but once you start removing pieces the integrity of the door just goes away. Putting it back together was very challenging. But my wife and I were able to get it accomplished. Not an easy task to say the least.

Using this replacement part I was able to replace the hinge on the door and fix the sping, our oven doon now is GENTLE as a baby.

We bought the one from here & it was the exact part, fit perfectly. Was replaced without a problem.

Bought the house with the range as is. The front door glass panel kept coming loose. Turns out it was the wrong one. It had been cut to fit with sharp edges. The lady informed me that part didn't exist. Ordered the new glass, hinge, and the bottom trim. .3 days arrived.1/2 hour later as good as new.
