Replaced the belt and heater element because they were worn, but still functioning. Replaced the thermal fuse by the heater element because it was showing open on a meter. Replaced the tstat cycle because it was working improperly. Everything except for the thermal fuse tested properly for continuity. I imagine that the t stat cycle was not shutting off when it was supposed to causing the heater element to keep getting hotter even when desired heat was reached. This caused the thermal fuse to pop open.
