I put this repair off for too long thinking that there would be problems (plumbing ya know). The filter housing replacement was easy and quicker than expected with no leaks (maybe two drops of water on the floor). I propped up the closed door with wood blocks and replacing the the closer pads went smooth. A small vise is needed to replace the upper pad on the removed bracket. I took my time - about 45 minutes total including looking for tools.
