Watched YouTube to see how. Spade electrode connectors are hard to unfasten. Used flat bladed screwdriver. Used heavy gloves to reconnect them. Must mark all connection points with sharpie or have genius memory. Read more

Replaced the cover took care of the sparking and replaced the motor to fix the plate not turning. Read more

I removed 2 screws securing the burner cover plate, then replaced the seals located under the plate and replaced the screws. Read more

I thought this would be a simple remove and replace, boy was I wrong. This repair became more complicated then it should have been. The screws holding the skirt were frozen and broke when trying to remove. Had to end up cutting the skirt using a dremel and a cutting blade. Was able to remove one of the screws using a pinning plier. The other one I had to bore it out using a drill bit.
