Turned off the power. Pulled out the stove. Removed back of upper part of stove. Removed old control board. Took photos with phone to make sure I got wires back on correctly. Only 1 wire was difficult to remove and required gentle rocking with pliers. Put the overlay on the new board. Placed all the clips and wires back on the new board. Turned on power to test. This is an oven bake igniter that mounts inside the oven compartment near the bake burner. It draws electrical current to heat up and open the gas valve, allowing the bake burner to light. Replace this part if your oven takes a long time to heat up, doesn't reach the set temperature, or fails to ignite at all.

Burner overheating or stuck on high? This infinite switch regulates temperature by cycling power on and off. Common fix for unresponsive heat control.
I had one element that would operate wide open when turned on the low setting. It needed the switch replaced. Since I was replacing other elements I went ahead replaced them all, adding new drip pans and wiring kits to each new element.
