William R Pewaukee , WI July 02, 2016 E 11 code error Turned off the power. Pulled out the stove. Removed back of upper part of stove. Removed old control board. Took photos with phone to make sure I got wires back on correctly. Only 1 wire was difficult to remove and required gentle rocking with pliers. Put the overlay on the new board. Placed all the clips and wires back on the new board. Turned on power to test. Tested ok. Turned power off and resecured the board and back on the stove. Repositioned the stove. Turned power back on. I then tested oven by placing at 375 with thermometer in oven. Tested perfect. John L Tecumseh , KS November 16, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Electric Range FGEF3055MFF The oven control touchpad numeral 3 quit working it would just emit a series of "beeps" when pushed After turning off the power to the stove I removed the rear panel of stove and confirmed that all the wires and connectors were intact to the control board. I unplugged all the connectors and reinserted them. Still had the same problem after turning power back on. Researched the replacement part online and ordered it from Appliance Parts Pros. and received my order the next day using standard shipping. -Wow! I proceeded to remove the defective control board and install the replacement. I should have ordered a new touchpad also but I removed the old one and put it onto the new control unit and it works perfectly. I used a hair dryer to warm up the old touchpad to help in peeling it off . The replacement kit came with an electrical filter that installs onto the power inlet terminals. 4 wires and easy to install. Hopefully the added filter will prolong the reliability of the control board. The whole job took about 25 minutes. Removing the sticky-backed touch pad and reinstalling it on the new board accounted for about half of that time. Turned power back on to the stove and everything works like new again. Bill H Meeker , OK December 03, 2015 Started beeping for no reason Got the part and it was the right one, then put it in the oven, and it works again. But I wouldn't recommend buying a Frigidaire product of any kind. I've bought four and two have had to be repaired within a year and a half. Rachel W Saint Paul , MN January 15, 2017 Appliance: Frigidaire Range FGEF3055MFE Frigidaire convection oven not heating past 200 degrees I am a do-it-yourself before I call for service. I will watch You Tube Videos and do a little research before I call for service. More often than not, it is a simple fix. Initially, I replaced both heating elements and that did not fix the problem. The only other option was the control panel. I ordered the control panel from Appliance Pros along with the overlay. Once it arrived, I took a photo of the old panel installed prior to removing it so i could ensure I would install new panel correctly. I installed it, which was very easy. However, the part failed to work properly. None of the buttons would activate any of the features. I hooked up the old panel to make sure I had installed the new panel correctly. The buttons worked on the old panel so I knew the new panel was defective. I contacted Appliance Pros customer service and explained the issue. They shipped me new parts without any issue. I just installed the new panel and it works great! I have used Appliance Part Pros on several occasions and have always been very happy with their service and quick shipping.
