After turning off the gas and unplugging the electricity, I removed all the burners from the stove top using a 3/16" hex socket. Then used a 1/4" socket to removed two or three screws under each burner which hold the burner base to the bottom of the top panel. Then pulled all the knobs and removed the front panel which was held in by two Phillips screws accessible from underneath the panel. It helps to open the oven door to get at these screws. I finished the repair in less than an hour and had to wait a few minutes to test the switch since the power was off and on due to a wind storm. We ordered a new ignitor and it came in two days just as promised. The only problem that we experienced was that the leads on the new ignitor were to short. We were able to find enough slack on the oven end to make it work. The oven is once again working great. The video was a little off on what need to be done to disconnect the ignitor. We actually had to flip the oven over to get to the bottom. We could not access the connector through the back. Read more

It is an easy job if you are good with screw driver and some general sense of things. Unplug the oven and than I opened the oven door and unscrewed two screws from bottom lift the glass door up and unscrewed the element coils total 4 screws there in total and pull the whole glass top out, removed the bracket from old glass top another 2 screws and 2 small brackets(snap on) from behind the glass top and put them on new one. slide the new glass top with back brackets into slot lift it up again to... I ordered a new longer griddle burner and burner cover, then just simply removed two screws from the small center burner and dropped the larger on in it's place. Very easy switch out and was very happy with the result. Very easy and worth while upgrade. Read more
