The Thermal Fuse is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool ovens. This safety device is designed to prevent the oven from overheating by cutting off electrical power if the internal temperature exceeds a safe level.

Replaced the blown heating element. I also only to be on the safe side, replaced the over temp sensor. I checked it with the meter when I pulled it out and it was ok. Tested ok.
