The Ice Door Fountain Kit is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool refrigerators with built-in ice makers. It directs water to the ice molding trays and facilitates automated ice cube harvesting. Kit includes flapper, solenoid, strike arm, solenoid plunger, and instructions. Spring is not included. For the spring order 61004388.

Causes of a bad ice door fountain kit can include wear and tear over time, buildup of ice or debris obstructing the door mechanism, or damage to the components from frequent use.

Symptoms include:

• Incomplete ice cubes or low ice yield
