Gary M Hood River , OR October 19, 2023 Appliance: Kenmore Washer 41741122310 Old smelly washer bellow. Removed old bellow following procedures found on relevant Youtube videos. Reinstalling however was more of a challenge. Getting the rear seal of the new bellow on the washer housing was not as easy as the videos indicated. The key to that process is being sure the seal is well lubricated which is not quite apparent from the videos but is essential success. Once the rear seal is installed, reapplying the rear spring was accomplished with the spring clamps as per the videos. Be sure to liberally lubricate the spring and spring area with dish detergent to enable easier stretching and application. Otherwise the friction will tend to pull the bellow off the rear housing and you have to reinstall. Once the bellow was reinstalled completely, a test washing cycle was performed and all seems well. AppliancePartsPros.com was very helpful when I called and asked for help and suggestions.
