Frigidaire Cooktop Parts

Replaced the old valve with a new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. I watched one of the YouTube videos to get an idea of what the process would entail. I gathered the tools I would require, plus a work light. The repair/replacement went pretty good. One thing the video I watched didn't cover was adjusting the valve for a propane system. I compared my old valve to the new one and saw that I would have to screw down the oven gas outlet until it "bottomed out". Read more

Turned off the power. Pulled out the stove. Removed back of upper part of stove. Removed old control board. Took photos with phone to make sure I got wires back on correctly. Only 1 wire was difficult to remove and required gentle rocking with pliers. Put the overlay on the new board. Placed all the clips and wires back on the new board. Turned on power to test. Well, after searching for a model number on the range, had to pull the existing module for the part number. Ordered and was shocked to see it arrive the very next day (no, didn't pay for next day). Went back together a lot quicker then me taking apart! Read more

We took the old ones off and put the new ones on..it was easy to do ..I want to say that the girl (I think her name was Heidi) she was a big help ,she made sure that I had the right parts,I ask her to show me the picture to make sure that they look like the part ..She was a really big help.
