Dallas L Blackfoot , ID February 09, 2018 Loud noise when running I started looking at new dishwashers and was quickly disheartened with the cost of these simple machines. There's really not much to them and yet they're so much money for what they do. I popped off the pump and took a look at it and cleared some "gunk" and hair out but it didn't fix the issue. Jumped on AppliandPartsPros.com and ordered the pump on a Friday night and had the part in hand Tuesday night after work. Took about 10 minutes total (dishwasher out and back installed, literally in 10 minutes) and used a philips screwdriver to swap out pumps and for about 1/10th of the price for a new dishwasher, it's working nearly silent again. Bill L Attleboro , MA October 15, 2021 Appliance: Frigidaire Dishwasher FGHD2465NF1A Whirring sound during wash cycle Frigidaire Dishwasher sounded like a motor stalling out (or like a leaf blower). Cleaned the impeller inside, and it turned, but something was off. Found the forums here, and quickly diagnosed the problem, got the RIGHT parts fast, and was back up and running within two days (which, with a toddler, the dishwasher is a life-saver!). I was even able to re-do some shoddy wiring left behind by the previous homeowner! Appliance Parts Pros has saved me twice now (inlet valve last time) and it's my first go-to when things are off with my appliances. Thanks for the awesome service and quick shipping, you folks clearly know how to do business! Rebecca L Plymouth , IN September 10, 2021 Squealing while washing Replaced pump motor, following along with their YouTube tutorial video. Easy! Need an Allen wrench to remove the bracket. I ordered the pump motor, not the pump motor kit, retained the gaskets from the old motor (5 yrs old), cleaned & inspected for damage, put on new motor in identical placement, sealed just fine. Jeffrey K Huntington Beach , CA March 02, 2024 Appliance: Frigidaire Dishwasher, Built-In FGID2466QF5A Grinding noise during washing… Went thru the process of trying to figure out if it was the recirculate or the drain pump and determined it was the recirculating pump. Pulled the screen and stem off and found nothing in the pump itself, so it was time to order a new pump. APP had the part in stock and quickly shipped. The longest part of this job is getting the washer out and on its side, then off its side and back in its spot. Unplugged the unit, shut off the water supply, disconnected the water supply hose and the drain hose. Pulled the unit out and layed it down on its side (As all the electrical and hoses come out of the back of the unit). Used a star driver for the 2 screws holding the pressure plate in place, unplugged the 2 harnesses from the old motor and pulled it. Threw the new pump in and connected the wiring, reinstalled the pressure plate and screwed it in. Flipped it back up, pushed it back in, connected the water lines and plugged it in… To easy. My only issue is that I ordered a set of O rings that were not needed (Note the picture of the pump does not show them included). APP, Please spell out that the O rings are included. Read More...
