Thomas , KY December 09, 2022 Appliance: Frigidaire Dishwasher FFID2426TD2A Three flashing lights (clean sanitized can't remember the third) on the control panel and no buttons would work. After reading through a few forums, I narrowed the problem down to one of 3 issues, the door latch, the switch assembly (control panel), or main control board. I rolled the dice on the switch assembly first. The main reason I did this was my belief the door latch was okay and because the main control board is more expensive. The removal and install of the switch assembly was pretty easy for me, and I would expect for most people that know how to use a screwdriver. When I removed the old switch assembly it appeared some water had gotten under the control panel where the selection buttons are located. This made me feel good about my decision to replace the switch assembly. Once I flipped back on the electrical breaker, the lights were no longer flashing. I was able to operate the buttons to select the type of load to run and have since ran the dishwasher about 4 times with no issue. Jake had a link to this site, and they were the cheapest. Had one minor/major issue… when sliding the new board into place one of the micro-buttons (START) came off. It took wearing readers over my regular glasses to get it reattached but it took care of the problem. We now have a working dishwasher again. The previous switch had a corroded button so this replacement fixed it! Also, AppliancePartsPros.com customer service is top-notch. They sent me a replacement for a part that was damaged during shipping and it arrived the next day! Easy repair, definitely inspect your switchboard if this is happening to you. Found a similar issue on Appliance Blog .com with my exact same model where a technician made recommendations on what parts to replace. They included the link to AppliancePartsPros.com for the switch assembly so I ordered. Part arrived super-fast and was able to replace in about 15 minutes with the help of a YouTube video.
