How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6809115 / 5304518467 User Interface Control Button Assembly

Found the same issue on applianceblog dot com. Jake had a link to this site, and they were the cheapest. Had one minor/major issue… when sliding the new board into place one of the micro-buttons (START) came off. It took wearing readers over my regular glasses to get it reattached but it took care of the problem. We now have a working dishwasher again. 

Replacing this Membrane Switch Assembly worked. The previous switch had a corroded button so this replacement fixed it! Also, AppliancePartsPros.com customer service is top-notch. They sent me a replacement for a part that was damaged during shipping and it arrived the next day! Easy repair, definitely inspect your switchboard if this is happening to you. 

Found a similar issue on Appliance Blog .com with my exact same model where a technician made recommendations on what parts to replace. They included the link to AppliancePartsPros.com for the switch assembly so I ordered. Part arrived super-fast and was able to replace in about 15 minutes with the help of a YouTube video. The dishwasher now working again and no more issues. 

I examined the Switch Button Assembly and found corrosion around the etching of the start button. Received the Switch Assembly from Appliance PartsPros.com the next day. Installed the part and the dishwasher worked perfectly. Exact part, a great experience, Thanks

Replaced the User Interface Control Button Assembly. Just needed screwdrivers. (I used electric to be fast.) Took about 15 minutes. I’m no expert, but this was an easy job.
