Nolan R Hoboken , NJ February 06, 2017 Frigidaire dryer error e66 then door open My Electrolux Frigidaire Gas Dryer stopped working and I got an error code E66 that the thermal limiter blew from over heating. The E66 code stops displaying after the initial code and you will then get a door open message. I replaced the thermal limiter and the thermostat just to be sure which part at the problem. The job is hard because you have to take apart the entire dryer and remove the drum. Would be a tough project to complete on your own. Mark K Lackawanna , NY January 10, 2016 Appliance: Model FRGQ7000LW0 Flame for dryer would not ignite Yes tested continuity on all sensors inside and found two to be faulty. I replaced three of them because frigidaire does not have an access panel and figured do them all while its apart. The parts were half the cost it was to have a repair man diagnos it and arrived within two days. I replaced the limiter the thermostat and the control thermistor. Gaspar S East Palo Alto , CA June 14, 2020 Dryer was overheating The blower housing assembly was broken and there was little left of it. I replaced that along with a bad thermostat.
