Description
This lower oven heating element supplies the heat for baking. It restores consistent oven temperatures when the original element has failed, helping your range bake evenly again.
- Heats the oven cavity during Bake mode
- Common failure signs: no heat in Bake, slow preheating, uneven baking, visible blisters or breaks on the element, or tripping the breaker when Bake is selected
- Electrical checks may show an open element when failed
What's included: One bake element assembly. Installation notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing to avoid electrical shock
- Allow the oven to cool completely; remove racks for access
- Transfer any mounting hardware from the old element if needed; connect wires firmly to the new terminals
- Avoid flexing or touching the element surface; test operation after reassembly
