Scott R Onondaga , MI August 14, 2015 Appliance: General Electric Washer WPRE6150K2WT Clunking and grinding from the drive Replaced the shaft & mode shifter assembly. Also replaced the pulley as it had taken some damage from the wobbling clutch dog. And replaced the tub seal since it's normally inaccessible with the shaft in place. This is an advanced repair that took a lot of time. Removing the tub nut took a 1 11/16" socket and a 700 ft-lb impact wrench and I had to hammer on the nut for several minutes to break it free of the tub. Disassembly of the washer is complete, and requires a lot of space for panels, pieces of the tub and drive, and keepers for screws. I was not able to do this in the laundry room, moved it to the garage. Brenda G Texas City , TX November 04, 2018 Appliance: General Electric Washer GTWN3000M1WS My washer wouldn't agitate or spin and made cling sounds Thanks to your video's really helped. I now know how to completely break my washer down. Actually these parts are the only parts I haven't change out, besides the motor. Your computer system is wrong on the belt. I still haven't received the correct belt I have talked to 3 different tech. They keep saying I am wrong. I am not a dummy. I do know the belt ya shipped is TO SHORT. It doesn't even go around the pulley much less reach the motor. I am lucky for right now my belt is still in good shape. But ya really need to check your picture on the belt number is correct. The order is wrong. Last number is the difference picture shows a 3 your system ships last number is a 1. Dean M Plainfield , IN October 05, 2019 Appliance: General Electric General Electric GTWN4450M1WS My 7 5 year old GE washer was making a loud noise during the spin cycle. I suspected a bearing had gone bad I watched several YouTube videos trying to understand the nature of the repair. I stumbled across the Appliance Parts Pros videos and they were very clear and helpful. Once I disassembled the washer I realized that the failed bearing as part of the Mode Shifter and Shaft Assembly. Compared to other sites those parts was relatively inexpensive from Appliance Parts Pros. I also found a cracked and bent pulley so I ordered this. Lastly, I thought it would be a good opportunity to replace the tube bearing and of course the tub seal. In the end, I think it was the tub seal that was leaking a bit and caused the failure of the bearing. Appliance Parts Pros was amazing in their shipping, pricing, and videos. I will always consider them for future appliance repair needs. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours Tools: Adjustable Wrench, Pliers, Screwdrivers, Socket Set, Wrench Set
