James O Moulton , TX July 26, 2014 Appliance: Model 278-4218590 Broiler element burnt out in my kenmore wall oven Cut off power ,inside I remove the two back screws, remove the two front screws with hangers. Pull element out, clip wires so they don't fall back in holes with clothes pins. worked good. But wire connection to the broiler was to large, had to replace connectors, wire fell in hole, had to pull wall oven out and remove back panel. I then mounted the new element to oven. Replaced connectors ,connected connectors, closed back panel, put oven in place ,connected power lines. Turned power on. Works good as new. My brother, Barry Benoit had ordered his second element from you folks ( His wife cooks a whole lot ) and when I mentioned I was searching for a local store for an element, and that I had gone to the dealer to probably just get the part from them, Barry immediately said to scrap that and he dug out your phone number and e-mail address. I then ordered my part from you. Companies spend tons of dollars advertising their product. But one satisfied customer can do as much good as thousands of dollars spend in ads. Which brings us here. I am now a satisfied customer and of course I will recommend you to anyone I hear of that may need parts. It's that simple. Life doesn't have to get complicated, now does it. Don Benoit Read More...
