How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2624569 / WB44M5 Broil Element 240V

We contacted several appliance repair shops. None were willing to do such a small repair on such an old appliance. I was able to do the repair easily with the video on the website. It was much easier than I anticipated. 

I got the part from you guys and put it in. perfect fit and function, thanks. 

Ordered both upper and lower elements from AppliancePartsPros.com, plus a new support bracket. I am mechanically capable, but the videos that these folks put out ( which I would advise everyone to watch) are an excellent source of information to insure a smooth installation. The hardest part of this job was cleaning the oven. 

The broiler element in our 1986 Kenmore built-in oven died....actually broke. We ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros on a Tuesday and it arrived on THURSDAY....two days later. My husband installed it a short amount of time and it is working great. I did a chat online with a great guy named Joshua who helped me with getting the correct part. Great service. Highly recommend this company. 

Replaced element. 

First I watched your video then started checking around. My brother, Barry Benoit had ordered his second element from you folks ( His wife cooks a whole lot ) and when I mentioned I was searching for a local store for an element, and that I had gone to the dealer to probably just get the part from them, Barry immediately said to scrap that and he dug out your phone number and e-mail address. I then ordered my part from you. Companies spend tons of dollars advertising their product. But one satisfied customer can do as much good as thousands of dollars spend in ads. Which brings us here. I am now a satisfied customer and of course I will recommend you to anyone I hear of that may need parts. It's that simple. Life doesn't have to get complicated, now does it. Don Benoit 

Installed new one 

Did nothing for six months. Then googled the part number, discovered your site, found a video of how to replace it, and decided I could handle the job. Ordered the part and it was here in 3 days. When I pulled it from the wall, the connectors were exactly as described in the video, so I was prepared with the right tools (you only need a phillips screwdriver and because one connector was stuck, a pair of needle nose pliers). It was surprisingly easy. 

Ordered a new element from Appliance Parts Pros and replaced the old one!
