Anthony S Naples , FL December 16, 2016 The existing drip tray is plastic covered by a layer of a material that acts and looks like chrome the metalized material has flaked off in many spots Purchased a plastic tray that is black for under $10 versus paying up to $68 on on one with the metalized covering which would over time once again flake off. There is no repair required, just lift out the old drip tray and put in the black replacement. Actually the black tray looks like it was always there. Emily J Herndon , VA September 15, 2020 Water leaking into bottom of fridge cracked water tank; drip tray corroded Followed the video on the replacement of the water tray and was able to replace successfully. There were minor differences in the placement of the water lines in the back of the fridge because my fridge has a bottom drawer quick-cool/thaw feature but the main important points in the video were still relevant. Fixed successfully. Replacement drip tray was broken on arrival but this is being taken care of by customer service and the actual repair will be easy.
