I ordered a dispenser paddle and spring. I also changed the spring on the flap door for the ice and changed the door switch for the freezer door which also controls the ice and water dispenser. We saw that hitting the water line with a heat gun would help melt the ice in the line. Well, that was a bad idea. It melted the paddle on our ice dispenser which eventually broke off. Eventually, I cleared the line with boiling water shot into it, but I had to order replacement parts for the paddle. The parts shipped extremely quickly and the repair itself took less than 10 minutes. The videos and information on this site were so helpful! Read More...
