Ge WB15X10020 Microwave Door Handle OEM Part

From the inside of the microwave door, we unscrewed the screw that was holding the top of the handle. We carefully removed the hard rubber gasket on the inside of the door using a putty knife to pop it out. Once the gasket was pulled away we were able to completely remove the old handle and install the new one. It took about 15 minutes. It would have been faster if we knew we could just pull out the gasket around the door. We weren't sure what was holding it in place and didn't want to break it.

After receiving the part, I 'googled' microwave oven handle repair, and saw a video as to how to replace. The top part of the handle was easily accessible from the door being open, but the bottom part of the handle was obscured. I saw on the video how to remove a large 'gasket' surrounding a portion of the inside of the door, making the screw for the bottom part of the handle accessible. Then, it was just a matter of screwing in the two screws, one for the top and one for the bottom! Then just had to pop back into place the large gasket.

Ordered a new handle from you and had our " fix-it" son replace the old one. If not for him, we would have had to get a repair man.

Purchased new handle. Customer Service person, Daneile, was very helpful and research as to need for additional screw required by unavailable. Was able to purchase similiar self tapping screw from local hardware store. Job completed

Partially pried up the gasket around window inside the door to expose the bottom screw. It was a simple repair. Watched the YouTube video that showed this as suggested in a previous post. It was very helpful. The gasket is a bit tight, so seeing it done in the video gave assurance that it would likely not break lifting it! The job took about 5 minutes. The service from ApplianceParts was amazing. I ordered the replacement handle in the afternoon and I had it the next day! Wow! That is incredible super service!
