Peggy L Union , KY November 29, 2014 Appliance: General Electric Free Standing Microwave JVM1490WD003 The microwave door handle pulled off for the 3rd time!! My husband is very familiar with this repair having done it twice before. The only problem this time was the way the handle broke off with such a small piece of the handle left on the screw. There was not enough plastic left to hold onto even with needle nose pliers. So he had to use a small drill bit & break the tiny plastic piece off the end of the screw. Then it was just a matter of screwing the new handle on and putting the door back on. I have to say that we were extremely pleased to receive the part the day after I ordered it.
