Description

Keep water and ice flowing without internal filtration. This MSWF water filter bypass plug replaces the filter to seal the housing and route water properly to the dispenser and ice maker when a filter is not used.

• Installs in place of the MSWF filter to bypass filtration
• Maintains water flow to the dispenser and ice maker with no filter installed
• Helpful for troubleshooting restricted flow or when using an external filtration system
• Seals the filter head to help prevent leaks during bypass
• Note: No water is filtered while this plug is installed

What's included: 1 bypass plug Install notes:

• Shut off the water supply and dispense water to relieve system pressure
• Remove the MSWF filter; align and twist the bypass plug to lock into the filter head
• Restore water, check for leaks, and run the dispenser briefly to purge air
• Follow your refrigerator's instructions and use appropriate hand/eye protection
