Ryan H East Dundee , IL September 22, 2014 Sump inlet had deterioriated and water would no longer drain from dishwasher Repair was very easy. Disconnected water, electric and drain line, removed dishwasher. Removed the sump inlet cover. Gained access to the bottom of the dishwasher. Removed two hose clamps from the sump. Removed the old sump. Cleaned the area. Inserted the new sump and set it in place. Reinstalled the hose clamps. Reinstalled the sump inlet cover. Reinstalled the dishwasher and tested for leaks. The utensils were not getting dry so tried to open and clean the filter and ultimately broke the lever of the lower spray arm base found inlet sump plastic deteriorated. On google search engine found the help to fix the issue along with the parts. With the help of videos and parts, I fixed it right and got it working.
