Easy access to sump and drain flapper valve that I also replaced. Rubber sump coming apart into soft pills & chunks and plugging spray arms. Better now but it's rediculous that GE would make components that dissolve this way. The flapper valve was included in the assembly, so I did not need to order that. On previous repairs, the old drain hose was tricky to reinstall, so I replaced it and the hose clamp.The silverware basket had holes in the bottom and required replacement. When we did this we found some broken glass in the bottom. I went to the parts website and looked for my problem to get suggestions. We assumed that since we found the glass that some must have gotten into the drain pump. We ordered the part. We especially liked the fact that there was a video available to show you how to complete the repair. Everything went smoothly and the dishwasher is working fine.
