Generator Bracket & Flange

This is a replacement eye hasp designed to hold the control module in place on generators. The eye hasp connects the back of the control module to the body of the generator and holds it in place with a bolt that fits through the eye. Because this part does not move, it will suffer from only minor wear and tear. The primary risk is from rust due to exposure to the elements. If the eye hasp becomes severely rusted or is damaged or lost when removing the control panel, it will need to be replaced.Replacing the eye hasp is not difficult, but will require the removal of the entire control panel from the generator. Once the module has been removed, locate the mounting point where the hasp attaches to the control module and remove the hasp. Install the replacement hasp and then reattach the control module to the generator body.This genuine OEM part is manufactured by Generac and fits several portable generators the company makes. This part is a foot bracket that is used on generators. The purpose of a foot bracket is to reduce the amount of vibration on the unit.A new foot bracket will be needed if the original is cracked, broken, bent, or otherwise damaged in any way. The foot bracket may become worn over a period of time due to normal wear and tear on the product. If this is the case, a new foot bracket will be needed. If the generator is missing foot brackets, they will need to be replaced as soon as possible for the overall longevity of the generator.
