This tubing is the OEM thermo/safet capillary line used with the temperature sensing/thermal safety assembly. It transfers temperature information to the control so the appliance can maintain proper temperature and protect components. What it does
- Carries temperature feedback from the sensing bulb to the thermostat/thermal safety device
- Allows the control to react to temperature changes and open/close circuits as designed
- A damaged or kinked tube can cause inaccurate temperature sensing or control faults
- Common symptom: temperature not regulated or unit cycling irregularly when sensing line is compromised
