The receptacle that held the burner element in place was broken so the burner would not make a connection and heat up. I ordered the receptacle kit. There was even an online video that showed how to make the repair. It just took a screwdriver and wire cutters and about 15 minutes and the job was done. The burner works great.

I unplugged the stove ,cut the 50 amp cord off from the terminal block as it was burned took out the terminal block as it to was all melted .installed the new terminal block with a new stove cord back in business

Had to pull double oven and range top out from wall which involved removing the upper kitchen cabinet. Took the sheet metal off the back and had the socket swapped out in a couple of minutes. My old oven works like a charm!

First, bought new terminal block , ID with wire color..
Second, found out new terminal block has different
mounting protrusions than old bracket.
Third, Bought new style bracket that fit new protrusion
design of terminal block
Had to drill out screw holding bracket onto stove top
as the phillips was stripped out.
