Unplugged stove. Removed six 1/4 inch socket head screws from back panel. Removed back panel. Removed plug on the back of the OCB. Removed OCB. Well, after searching for a model number on the range, had to pull the existing module for the part number. Ordered and was shocked to see it arrive the very next day (no, didn't pay for next day). Went back together a lot quicker then me taking apart! Read more
This control panel overlay restores the labeled clock/timer area and button markings on your oven or range so the display and controls are easy to read and use. It replaces a cracked, faded or worn clock overlay for a cleaner finish. What it does:
Repair was relatively easy. You'll need a 5/16 socket with a short extension and a phillips-head screwdriver. Probably also an old rag and a bucket of hot soapy water. I started by sliding the stove out from the wall. Unplug the stove as soon as possible. No sense messing with 240 volts AC.
