Defroster in freezer not functioning causing the freezer to frost up and the fridge to not cool appropriately Eddie R. • Debary , FL • January 06, 2015
I unplugged the fridge and took all the food and shelving out of the freezer and then proceeded to take off the bottom sliding drawer rack on both sides off (4 Phillips head screws). Then took off the light bulb cover and then the light bulb. Then the back wall that covers the coils and tubes that the refrigerant runs through ( 2 screws with hex head). After sliding out the back wall I could see that the entire coil area was frosted and iced up. I took a blow dryer and melted all of it over...

The vegetable drawer broke because it is always overloaded Beth O. • Dorr , MI • November 10, 2015
Bought a new vegetable drawer. It was an expensive fix but well worth it because now my drawer doesn't fall when I open it. That was a pain especially since the drawer is so huge. Love the fact that it's a big drawer but the drawback is that the drawer gets so heavy that it broke the plastic on the back of the drawer. I noticed that the new drawer was reinforced in that area. So that is very appreciated. My fridge is like new again :)

1) By using google to find videos on why the door wouldn't close, I found out I needed new cams, those same videos also showed how to remove and replace the door.
2) Then by googling the fridge model number and the word 'cam', I was able to find the parts.
3) Taking the door off was simple, I needed a phillips head screwdriver to remove the hinge cover, however the screws in the hinge plate were so tight, I needed a side handle socket wrench to loosen them.
4) The door itself is not hard to...

I called AppliancePartsPros.com and they helped me diagnose the problem for this very nice, and well designed refrigerator, that I wanted to keep rather than recycle at the local scrap yard. It was really easy to locate the motor and fan and replace it. I saved hundreds of $$$. I really appreciated the...
