I watched a YouTube tutorial on "fridge's not cooling". A few troubleshooting ideas were discussed, one of which was to replace the "device start" and "run Capacitor". I probably only needed the device start but decided to purchase both through "AppliancePartsPros.com" for a total of $134. Had a friend who is an appliance repair tech. Replace the evaporator, the heater coil, and the filter/drier. Parts were soldered together and the compressor was put under vacuum. Then, charged with 5 oz. of refrigerant. The freezer works great now! Read more
