Ikea Light, Bulb, Lamp

I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. After doing some research I discovered this was not uncommon, and the fix usually involved replacing the hinges and/or the hinge receptacles. It was a classic horror story, but with a happy ending! I called a classic, "regular" repair company that I obtained on-line. When that didn't work we replaced the board and could see where the old board was damaged so we figured this was the solution. The repair was a success. The switch and came looked different from the original. I called Appliance Parts Pro, they lady on the phone said that Frigidaire changed the switch and how to wire it up correctly. Problem solved. It all works as it should. Read more

I ordered a new socket and replaced the socket and now we have a light in the oven. The project took about 10 minutes and was easy done. Read more

I researched on the net, ordered the part, it arrived the next day. Took about 45 minutes to replace. Fairly easy fix. Read more

Removed the plastic shield, then unscrewed old bulb. Screwed in new bulb. New bulb has a slightly different screw base. Looked in several stores that carry appliance bulbs and could not find any bulbs that matched the unusual screw base. Replacing the snap-in plastic shield was difficult. It might have been easier if I had taken the freezer drawer out. Read more
