This thermal fuse is a safety device designed to cut power to the oven if internal temperatures exceed a safe limit, preventing overheating and potential fire hazards. It is a one-time-use component that cannot be reset once it has tripped. Replace this fuse if your wall oven will not heat at all or has no power, especially after a self-clean cycle or an overheating event.
Replaced fuse. It took much longer to get the oven out of the wall to access the fuse and replace the front panel than to do the repair. This fuse failed at the end of the cleaning cycle for the bottom oven and left the door locked because the open fuse removed the 120v power from the control board. The locked door made it impossible to remove one of the screws holding the wall oven in place. However, after I ground off the head of the screw behind the edge of the locked door I was able to... The Spark Igniter is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool gas ranges. Located inside the oven cavity it initiates combustion using high-voltage electricity. This is a broil igniter for the upper (broil) burner. Causes of malfunction relate primarily to element degradation from extended heating cycles. Decided to give it a try. Took about 10min to replace and oven is now working perfectly, for a total of $30! Read more
Burners won't light or spark intermittently? This spark module controls ignition for gas burners. Moderate DIY repair, typically behind control panel.
Replaced module: Although the new module was slightly different due to a third or ground terminal that was not on the original I managed to figured out that I did not need to worry about the ground since the existing wiring had already allowed for the connection. Easy repair. I ordered the part one day and it was delivered the next and that was using the least expensive delivery service. You guys are great Read more
Fix F95 error code or oven door that won't lock during self-clean cycle. This door lock motor assembly repair takes about 15 minutes with basic tools.
I replaced the controller to remedy the LED display issue and changed the motor latch assembly to fix the F95 error. The installation of both parts was very easy. A local repair shop wanted a minimum of $115 just to show-up at my door, and their price for the same parts was over $140 what I paid at AppliancePartsPros. Thanks. Read more

This panel forms the floor of the oven, sitting above the bake element or burner to shield it from spills and provide a smooth, stable surface. Replace a warped or damaged panel to help maintain proper heating and easier cleanup. What it does:
The problem is a finicky ignition system, Direct Spark Ignition. Apparently Whirlpool redesigned the igniter/burner assembly slightly to make it more reliable. The repair is very easy. Turn off power, but you don't need to turn off gas. Remove oven bottom and flame spreader, then remove burner/igniter assembly, one screw at front, one at back. Lift out burner assembly carefully to avoid stretching wire. Pull electric connector from pin on burner/igniter assembly. Vacuum to clean oven. ... Read more
