• Typical symptoms: fan won't start, won't shut off, runs intermittently, or the switch/rocker feels loose or broken
• Contacts can wear or arc over time from repeated use

• Disconnect power at the breaker or unplug the appliance before servicing
• Access the switch from the control panel; note wire positions and take a photo for reference
• Move wires one at a time to the matching terminals on the new switch; replace any heat-damaged connectors
• Reassemble, restore power, and test fan operation
