Fixes oven or broiler that won't ignite or start. This spark module generates the electrical spark needed to light gas burners when igniters fail to work.
I purchased a new igniter for the bake assembly and found that it, unfortunately, did not resolve my problem. I measured the resistance of the different points on the gas valve and it was reading within spec so I then purchased this spark module and it did the trick. My gas range is a Kitchenaid kgsk901sss02. I had a LOT of trouble finding where the spark module is located, and eventually found a schematic that shows it's location behind the front control panel of the oven. Upon taking the... Read more

Thanks Appliance Parts Pros for your great service and fast delivery... Read more
Oven not heating or display not responding? This electronic control board manages temperature, timing, and keypad functions. Moderate DIY repair.
My 15 year old son and I examined the new parts and made a plan for how we were going to take the front off of the oven. Turns out it was fairly simple. We removed the knobs, the knob shrouds, two philip screws on the side of the head and about 6, 6mm hex sheet screws. Voila! It came apart. We carefully looked at how the old parts were assembled and simply reversed the assembly with the new parts. Since one of our parts was the entire front head, it went together quickly and it was a perfect... Read more

Fix a blank or dim display on your oven with this electronic control board. Manages baking, broiling, and clock functions. DIY repair in 15-30 minutes.
This couldn't have been simpler! Removed the glass panel by taking out 4 screws on the bottom that were accessed by opening the oven door. Lifted up, then pulled the panel forward, released one electrical connection, and the panel was disconnected and could be laid on a flat surface. Unscrewed the four nut screws on the old control board with a socket set (you could use a small wrench, but it would be tedious), un-clipped the wide ribbon connection ( had to pry it off very gently to avoid... Removed the screws that hold the oven and microwave in the cabinet and slid the whole unit out 4 inches, and removed 2 screws on each side of the oven that hold the screen in. The entire front panel can then be removed. Used a very small flat screwdriver to unplug the plugs off the control board so the clips wouldnt break. Some of the plugs are labeled where they should go, but it would help to mark where they go just in case. Installed new panel in reverse order, easier than expected. Read more
