The Control Board is an OEM part for Frigidaire ranges and ovens. It is responsible for managing various functions and operations of the appliance. This crucial component receives input from the control panel and user settings, and then translates these inputs into commands for the different components of the range, such as the oven heating elements, bake and broil functions, temperature regulation, and timer operations.
Causes of a faulty Control Board can be related to electrical issues, such as power surges, short circuits, or internal component failure due to age or wear and tear.
Symptoms of a bad Control Board can include:
- Oven not heating or maintaining temperature properly
- Oven control panel not responding or displaying erratic behavior
- Specific oven functions not working correctly
- Error codes or warning lights illuminated on the control panel
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.
