Once the panel is removed, locate the old control board. Take note of the orientation of the wires by taking a photo with a phone camera. Disconnect the wire harness and any individual wires that are attached to the old board. Re-secure the wires into their correct positions. Snap the new board back in place and reinstall the upper back panel. This genuine replacement control board is compatible with Frigidaire Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Westinghouse brand ovens.

1. I ordered a new burner. It didn't fix it. 2. I ordered a new burner switch. It didn't fix it. But still needed to be replaced because I cold see itt had burned out. 3. I checked the wires to the burner, then to the switch, they were all fine. I probably should have done this first. My last possible solution was the simmer switch board. I couldn't visually see any points of failure but it really was my last resort before calling a repair man or buying a new stove. 4. I ordered new... Read more

This Frigidaire oven range control board and clock are sold separately from the unit. The touchpad cover is also available individually. This control board contains the clock and timer digital display screen. This component is responsible for controlling the heat settings of the baking area and the electric cooktop. When a faulty control board continues active use in an oven, burners may begin to malfunction over weeks or months. Individual burners may work one day, and other days they may fail to power on altogether. This is also true of the baking and broiling functions of the oven. After the board fails, the clock and timer screen will fail to engage. The stove may also power on but fail to power off once the timer has reached its final countdown. On the back panel of the oven, there are rear screws that hold the control assembly in place. Remove these screws and turn to the inside of the stove. There are two anchor screws directly below the control assembly that fasten it to the cooktop. After removing these final screws, pull the control assembly off. Two tiny screws are holding the protective covering of the faulty control board. Remove these screws and disconnect the old control board/clock from the wiring harness. Proceed with the installation of the new component. This part is compatible with Frigidaire and Kenmore appliances. This is a genuine OEM part and is sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Stumbled upon Appliance Parts Pros web site and after some research bought 2 circuit boards. (UIB) Interface Board AP4501702 and ESEC Relay Board AP5780950. I carefully replaced the UIB board first and it solved the problem. Things like taking the door off can be found on the internet and took me far more time than actually replacing the board. I have never used APP before but understand that the other board is returnable. I am a very happy and future customer. Read more

This part should last for many years, but it can be damaged by prolonged exposure to moisture or high heat.If the control board is failing or has failed, the oven may be inoperable, or it may experience erratic or erroneous operation. The display of the control worked, so one might not question it but there is nothing else that would simply shutdown while heating. This part came faster than a 'technician' and 5 sheet metal screws and 4 mounting screws later, the new unit was installed. The only delay was the waiting for the oven to reach full temp to verify that it was working - it is. The parts places try to sell a new membrane panel ( adhered display cover (numbers and labels) for these but the old one can be removed... Read more
