- Disconnect power; shut off gas supply for gas models
- With a helper, carefully tilt or raise the dryer for access
- Unscrew the old leg; thread the new leg into the base by hand, then adjust with a wrench until the dryer sits level and stable
- Ensure all legs contact the floor and the dryer does not rock
