Kenmore Elite Spark Module

The Spark Module is an OEM part for Frigidaire cooktops and ranges. It is responsible for generating the electrical spark that ignites the gas burners. This module sends a high-voltage signal to the igniters, ensuring the burners light up quickly and reliably when you turn the knobs.

Causes of a bad spark module can include electrical surges, wear and tear from regular use, or exposure to moisture, which can lead to corrosion or short-circuits. 

Symptoms of a bad spark module include:

• Burners not igniting
• Weak or intermittent spark
• Clicking sound without ignition
• Some burners working while others do not

This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.

This spark ignition module generates the high-voltage pulses that light the burners' igniters on a gas appliance. Replacing a failed module restores consistent ignition so burners light reliably when you turn the control to ignite. What it does

• If only a single burner won't spark, check that burner's igniter and spark switch/wiring first; the module typically affects multiple burners.
