Top mounted freezer with bottom refrigerator. Kenmore Elite
Shut off the power
Remove all food stuff from freezer (placed in ice chest) then shelves.
Removed the ice maker, (easy!) 3 screws and unplugged wires.
2 screws in the back panel. Pulled top forward - downward
Unplugged wiring harness from back wall of freezer, removed ground wire from panel
Pulled fan blade off. (Fan was attached to back wall, not removable back panel)
Removed 2 screws to get to fan motor.

After tossing a couple for refrigerators to clean the storage area - we had one good one left taken from an apartment where the resident bought a newer-bigger one.
