Color: chrome. Measures about 1 inch in diameter.
Turned off 40 Amp breaker. Removed shelves from oven. Removed two screws in back panel holding element in place. Slowly pulled element free making sure wires stayed attached and not lost in oven insulation. Removed two wires from old element. Attached wires to new element. Pushed wires back into oven rear wall. Reinstalled the previously removed two screws. Turned on breaker. Total time less than 10 minutes. Read more

Ordered the part and installed myself. Received payout from home warranty of $750 since they could not source the part quickly. I decided to order the part online through appliancepartspro since they were the best price. Repair was very straightforward and easy. 10 screws around the cooktop for easy removal, longest part was vacuuming out the old glass.
