• Element will not heat

I took some part numbers from the underneath side of the burner along with the stove model number and entered them on the internet and luckily found the part that I was looking for - I purchased it and it was delivered very quickly (faster than I expected). I took pictures of the burner before taking it apart and then removed the broken burner and replaced it with the new burner, put all the other parts back together and it worked perfectly the first time I turned it on. I searched online for F9 error fixes and people said to replace the thermostat. I replaced thermostat and it fixed the problem! Hardest thing was pulling oven out of cabinet!! Read more

From the rear of the stove, remove the cover for the heating element / lock actuator (left side, 2 screws), remove the upper panel (8 perimeter screws & 4 centerline screws). I ordered a new range control knob from your site and replaced the old knob with the new one. Easy fix. I received the part promptly and was happy to see the new core is aluminium and not plastic like before. I'm sure I will have no more trouble with this knob. Unfortunately there are 4 others that could break .Oh well. Now I know where to order new ones if and when that happens. Read more

• Won't start
