William B St. Cloud , FL November 30, 2014 Appliance: LG Washer WM0642HW Bearings on front load washing machine I found your tutorial, watched it a couple of times and decided I could do this! I got online and had a chat with your pro. I was a little disappointed to hear that my model required complete tub assembly, as the bearings didn't come separate. Had a heck of a time getting the inner tub unstuck! Probably saved me the heart ache of pounding out the bearings for buying the whole assembly, but re-assembly went great with NO parts leftover. Washer runs great, nice and quiet. Even the neighbors noticed!! Your service is fantastic, fast, and reasonably priced. Saved hundreds from your expert tutorial. Brandon A Seattle , WA September 06, 2016 Bearings were stuck to the rear tub I replaced the rear tub. NOTE that LG says if you replace the rear tub, you must also replace the stator and rotor. This is not true! I used my old stator and rotor, and everything works just fine. Lydia F Willimantic , CT June 07, 2016 Appliance: Model LG WM0642HW Growling noise coming from the rear of the drum of my lg wm0642hw front load washing machine I followed the video that was posted on your website, very informative and easy to follow. Only problem was, was the drum and bearings refused to separate, even after a week of applying rust buster and using a 5 lb sledge hammer and 2x4 wood. Spoke with one of your exceedingly helpful assistants on the phone and he gave me the only other option was to replace the rear drum assembly and the inner drum. So easy!! It's back together and running! I now can revel in clean laundry! I only have to make sure about any loose wiring because it's got a slight thumping noise and slight wobble during the spin cycle... but at least, I have clean laundry!! Joe T Midlothian , VA October 08, 2017 Outer tub assembly replacement on my lg washer. This is not a small repair, as you need to almost disassemble the entire washer to complete the job. The accompanying video was spot on and walked through the disassemble and rebuild with no missing steps! I would recommend moving the washer to a space where you have room to work if you can (my laundry room is too small to move around in). My washer sounded like a freight train prior to the repair, and is now quiet as can can be. Price and support were great and the fix was far cheaper than buying a new washer.
