This silicone lubricant is used during appliance service to condition rubber seals and O-rings, especially in dishwashers. It eases installation and helps new seals seat properly for a reliable, leak-resistant connection on pumps, valves, and hose fittings.
- Lubricates rubber seals, O-rings, and gaskets to prevent rolling, tearing, or binding during assembly
- Helps seals seat correctly to support leak-resistant joints
- Aids insertion of hoses, plastic fittings, and pump components
- Helpful when reassembling sump, diverter, inlet, and drain connections
- Common signs it may be needed: difficulty installing seals, seals that dislodge, or seepage after a seal replacement
What's included: One tube of silicone lubricant. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water before servicing the appliance
- Clean and inspect mating surfaces; replace any cracked, flattened, or cut seals
- Apply a light, even film to the rubber part only; avoid over-application
- Wipe away excess; do not use lubricant to compensate for damaged seals—replace them
